      Chocolate Skateboards, part of the "Girl Distribution Company" was founded in 1994 in Los Angeles as a independent skateboard company for sponsored riders who could not fit on the main "Girl Skateboards" team roster. 
      Girl Distribution having its origins in 1993 with team riders from World Industries, Mike Carroll and Rick Howard deciding to start their own skate brand with cinematographer Spike Jonze, along with Megan Baltimore, the "matriarch" in charge of business operations.
      Girl Distribution is a skater-driven brand, producing premium boards, with stand out team riders, and some of the most recognisable videos in the world of skateboarding.
