        Girl Skateboards originated in 1993 when team riders from World Industries, Mike Carroll and Rick Howard decided to start their own skate brand with cinematographer Spike Jonze - a trio of skateboarding greats, along with Megan Baltimore, the "matriarch" in charge of business operations.
        The "93 Til" deck series celebrates Girl Skateboards' founding year, and the 1993 hip-hop song and album of the same name, "93 'til infinity by U.S. group "Souls of Mischief".
