Powell-Peralta x Tommy Guerrero "Dagger" Artwork; 
Tommy Guerrero's signature "Conan Dagger" graphic was released in early 1986 on his first official pro-model board with Powell Peralta. The initial graphic idea was from the front grill of a hot rod, like a street machine, the knife coming from the centrepiece of the grill and the "V8" from the engine. Gurrero's pro-graphics drawing inspiration and parallels with street machines, street racing and street skating. 
Later that same year, the graphic was further developed into the iconic "Flaming Conan Dagger" design by Powell Peralta artist Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (VCJ), which served as Guerrero's second pro-model board graphic. 
Guerrero's "Conan V8 Dagger" and "Flaming Dagger", now iconic skate designs from the 1980's.

The Bones Brigade were an unprecedented group of skateboarders who, as a collective, transformed the cultural and technical evolution of skateboarding. The innovative manoeuvres performed by them over a decade spanned the fundamental to revolutionary.
World champion Stacy Peralta recruited and mentored the "Brigade" as he joined forces with product designer George Powell to form Powell Peralta.
