Cab's "Original Dragon" pro-signature deck graphic was released by Powell Peralta in 1980. After six years, a new graphic was created just in time for the filming of the Animal Chin video in '86. Known as the Cab "Chinese Dragon", the artwork was inspired by a Chinese takeout box, and was illustrated by Powell-Peralta artist Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (VCJ). The Chinese Dragon was released in 1986 on a newly designed "fish" shape deck.

    Steve Caballero's Signature Dragon Artwork;

    • 1980: Original Dragon. Crouching Dragon on a flat skateboard bearing, with later subtle variations.
    • 1986: Chinese Dragon. Inspired by a Chinese takeout box. Often associated with the "Search for Animal Chin" video era.
    • 1987: Street Dragon. Featuring a "bats and bones" background. Designed specifically for street skating, featuring the "Caballero" name in a bat-shaped font.
