Powell-Peralta x Mike Vallely "Elephant" Artwork;
The Vallely "Elephant" graphic was Powell Peralta's first pro-signature deck graphic for Mike Vallely.
Discovered at a Virginia Beach skate contest by Neil Blender and Lance Mountain, a young Mike Vallely was asked to join the Powell-Peralta team and quickly rose to fame as a premier street skater.
After initially rejecting the "Vallely Roach" (or "Bug") graphic designed by Powell Peralta artist Vernon Courtland Johnson (VCJ) in 1987, Vallely worked with VCJ on a Elephant theme. The Elephant graphic featured on Mike Vallely's first pro-model deck of 1988.
A iconic Powell Peralta release, defining the 1980's skate aesthetic.
Graphics, colours, veneers and stains may vary slightly from images.
