Shake Junt is a independent skateboarding hard-goods, apparel and lifestyle brand founded by professional skater Shane Heyl in 2005. The brand name came from a 90's hip-hop song by Lil' Gin and Skinny Pimp (and inspired by Three 6 Mafia slang), meaning to shake or do your thing.
The brand started by way of a raw, independent "homie" skate video, filmed on old camcorders by Shane and featured friends from the Baker and Deathwish skate crew. Shane burned the DVDs, labeled them by hand, and cold-called skate shops across the country to sell them. With the video going viral in the skate community, the crew made small promotional items like hand-cut stickers and iron-on t-shirts.
The group turned the venture into an official company, and united riders from different board and shoe sponsors, bridging the Baker Squad and Deathwish crew.
Shake Junt is now known for manufacturing skateboard accessories and hardware, colourful griptape, bearings, bolts, and risers, alongside apparel. 
The brand embraces a loud, rebellious, fun and casual street-skate aesthetic, with the signature colours of green and gold symbolising "money and honeys". 
Since 2008, Shake Junt has been distributed through Baker Boys Distribution and is closely tied to the Baker Skateboards and Deathwish skateboarding families.
